Panda USB Vaccine

Panda USB Vaccine is a free utility from Panda Security Research which helps prevent malware infections due to the autorun feature of Windows Operating Systems. Once executed the user can choose two types of vaccinations: Computer Vaccination or USB Drive Vaccination. USB Vaccine allows users to vaccinate their PCs in order to disable autorun completely so that no program from any USB/CD/DVD drive (regardless of whether they have been previously vaccinated or not) can auto-execute. This is a really helpful feature as there is no user friendly and easy way of completely disabling autorun on a Windows PC. Panda USB Vaccine can be used on individual USB drives to disable its autorun.inf file in order to prevent malware infections from spreading automatically.

Panda USB 疫苗是Panda Security Reserch为了防止malware使用视窗系统Autorun的特点而研究开发的一个免费程序。一旦执行，用户能选择停止电脑或USB Drive/Pen Drive的Autorun。当USB Drive/Pen Drive的Autorun被停止，USB Drive/Pen Drive还是会被感染病毒，不过病毒不能够自动执行。

About Antivirus

Antivirus is a must for MS-Windows system, even though you don't download anything. As long as you have connected to internet, then your computer can be infected by virus. It is because there is a lot of people using MS-Windows system, so chances to hack into MS-Windows is high. Especially the one who use pirated version. Due to Microsoft blocking security update for pirated Windows, pirated version will be having more security loop-hole. So, a good antivirus is a MUST!

On 22nd July 2009, I recommend using

1) Kaspersky Antivirus (Download from here, and you can get 30days trials & able to clean your virus)
2) AVIRA Free Edition (Free Edition)

You should select [Repair]. If repair is not an option then you must select [Move to quarantine] for unknown file, or [Delete] for unwanted file. Forget about [Rename]. [Deny access] still leaving the virus inside your computer.... And [Ignore] most properly will run the virus.. And you are most probably infected by the virus already. Don't panic.. update your antivirus now run [Scan system now].


Always make sure it is up-to-date. Not up-to-date yet? Click on [Start update]. And the AntiVir Guard must always be [Activated].




关于防毒系统

如果你使用微软视窗系统，你一定要有防毒系统。虽然你没有下载任何东西，只要你有连线，你的电脑就有机会感染病毒。这是因为有很多人使用微软视窗系统，所以破坏微软视窗系统的成功率很高，尤其是使用盗版的视窗系统。微软封锁盗版视窗的更新系统，没有更新的视窗系统，就会有更多的安全隐患。所以，好的防毒系统更加重要了。

在2009年7月22日，我建议使用：

1) Kaspersky Antivirus （从这里下载可免费试用30天，可以用它来杀毒）
2) AVIRA Free Edition （免费的版本）

找到病毒时，你应该选择【Repair】。如果不能选择【Repair】，而你又不懂那个档案重不重要，那你必须选择【Move to quarantine】。如果那是不重要的档案，那请选择【Delete】。如果选择【Deny acess】，病毒还是在你的电脑里面。如果你选择【Ignore】，那么你很有可能中毒了。更新你的AVIRA后再做几次【Scan system now】。
没有更新的防毒系统是垃圾。压【Start update】以更新你的防毒系统。【AntiVir Guard】一定要【Activated】。

How to know your PC(Windows) is infected by virus or not?

1) Press [Windows Key]+[R], then key in "cmd" inside the box and press [Enter].
- If Command Prompt Screen/cmd Box is launching, then you passed this test.

2) Hold on [Ctrl]+[Atl] buttons, and press [Del] button once.
- If [Windows Security] screen(Pro Edition) is popping out, then you have to click on [Task Manager]. If [Task Manager] is launching, then you passed this test.

3) Install & update your Antivirus, and do a full check up. If you unable to update or install any antivirus, then you most probably infected by virus. Kaspersky or Avira Free are highly recommended by me on Jun 09. You can click the link to download it.

4) Download Process Explorer by clicking this link. And then run it [procexp]. Check if any unknown process inside. If yes, stop it and re-run your antivirus again.





如何知道电脑有没有中毒？

4) 压此链以下载Process Explorer。然后执行[procexp]。检查有没有不明的程序正在执行。如果有，请把它终止，然后再执行防毒软件。
